What to wear and bring
I personally wear offshore foul weather gear from Grundens
I do have some extra gear that you can borrow just let me know the day before and I’ll bring it, but please feel free to bring and wear your own gear. You will get wet and definitely dirty especially if you go squid fishing.
Please dress in layers and wear closed toe shoes or boots.
Where SPF clothing and or bring sunscreen.
Please NO spray sunscreen on the boat.
Don’t forget your sunglasses
Bring your phone and or camera and charging cord
Bring food, snacks and drinks (I have bottles of water on the boat)
Leave a cooler in your car to transport fish home
What NOT to bring
No drugs (except prescription medication)
No hard liquor
Limited amounts of beer in cans is ok
No bananas
No glass please!
No picnics on fishing trips
Fishing comes first before eating so water and bars are best but feel free to bring a sandwich or whatever you like.
No microwave on the boat but plenty of ice and coolers.
Try to avoid things that you touch before eating. Hands are usually dirty from touching fish and bait etc.
What to expect
I’m flexible and tailor your fishing trip around your group. You and I will decide on the targeted species, time and place to meet etc. After you book with me you will get multiple confirmations via text or phone call and you will know exactly what to bring and where and when to meet. After a quick safety and boat run down we will be on our way. Travel time on the water can be as little as 15 minutes to 4 hours to get to the fishing area. Then we fish! I’ll make sure that your legal catch is processed, iced and ready for you to prepare and eat. Don’t forget your cooler. I take care of reorganizing all of the fishing and safety gear and cleaning the boat so I can be ready for the next trip.
Tipping
Gratuities are greatly appreciated for excellent service and processing your catch.
I try to keep the rates as low as possible so showing some appreciation for a great day on the water is always welcome.
